about the project
Community Engagement Program 2020 is a volunteer-driven initiative focused on raising awareness and empowering local communities. During the pandemic, the program launched the COVID-19 Prevention Awareness Project, aiming to educate residents about health protocols, encourage responsible behavior, and foster a sense of collective care within the community.

the solution
The main challenge was how to communicate health protocols in a way that was both clear and engaging, while avoiding fear-based messaging. The design needed to reach diverse audiences, including those with limited access to information, and motivate voluntary action rather than compliance out of obligation.
the problem
I created a visual campaign that combined friendly illustration styles, straightforward messages, and a clean layout to ensure accessibility for all audiences. By emphasizing positive outcomes of masking and safe behavior, the design encouraged people to take preventive action voluntarily. The visuals were distributed across both print and digital platforms, maximizing reach and community impact.

COVID-19 Prevention Awareness Project
I developed a poster campaign aimed at increasing COVID-19 prevention awareness, with a focus on encouraging mask usage. The challenge was to communicate a clear and persuasive message during a period of uncertainty. Through clean visuals, impactful typography, and relatable imagery, the campaign reached over 1,000 people and successfully motivated voluntary mask-wearing within the community.

Result & Impact
The campaign successfully reached over 1,000+ people, with clear messaging that motivated voluntary mask usage across the community. Survey feedback showed 95% positive responses, confirming that the visuals were effective in raising awareness without creating fear. Community participation in health activities also increased significantly, while local income saw a 20% boost from related initiatives, such as sales of affordable masks and hygiene kits. The project not only achieved its awareness goals but also strengthened both community trust and economic resilience during the pandemic.

this project was a truly meaningful experience. Translating the theme of Independence Day into visuals that brought people together challenged me to balance cultural values with modern aesthetics. Seeing the community respond positively to the design was both rewarding and inspiring.
